Represented clients in a broad variety of practice areas, including environmental and energy regulatory and policy matters; civil litigation; technology commercialization and licensing; intellectual property; government contracting; and general corporate matters.
Served as Majority Senior Counsel for the U.S. Senate Environment and Public Works Committee from 2007 to 2011. Responsible for major legislative and oversight programs including climate change, clean energy, emissions trading and markets, safe drinking water enforcement, water infrastructure, clean air and clean water legislation. Extensive interaction with other Congressional offices and Executive Branch agencies.
Strong business, entrepreneurial and technical focus. Extensive experience working with growing companies in strategic operational and financing contexts. Matters have involved diverse technologies including advanced energy, water and environmental technologies.
