Barry Solomon has been a professor of Energy and Environmental Policy at Michigan Technological University since 1995, where his is the former graduate program director. Before that he was a senior economist at the U.S. Department of Energy and the Environmental Protection Agency for 11 years. From 1989-1991 he also served as a staff member for the energy studies of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. He has authored over 200 publications, including 6 books.
