Prior to joining Energy in Depth, Katie served as the press secretary and speechwriter for the Republican minority on the U.S. Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works.
Katie holds a Ph.D. in Twentieth-Century Irish/English literature from Trinity College in Dublin and a B.A. in English and Music from the University of Notre Dame. She is currently putting the finishing touches on her book, James Joyce, Music and Memory.
