Andrew Lipow is President of Lipow Oil Associates LLC a consulting firm which he founded in May 2004. Lipow Oil Associates LLC specializes in refinery operations, storage and trading opportunities and biofuel use. Prior to that, for seven years Mr. Lipow traded crude oil, gasoline, jet fuel and distillate at Vitol, a privately held trading company. In addition Mr. Lipow traded oil based commodities at Basis Petroleum and J. Aron. Mr. Lipow also has extensive supply and refining experience from his 16 year tenure at Amoco Oil Company and Amoco Corporation. Mr. Lipow has a Master of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He has appeared on Fox Business News, CNBC, Bloomberg TV, as well as the major network night news broadcasts
