Dr. Mohsen Khatib-Rahbar is the founder and president of Energy Research, Inc. He has more than 350 publications dealing with reactor safety, reactor design, LWR and liquid metal fast reactor thermal-hydraulics, severe accident phenomenology, source term research, reactor control, methods for uncertainty analysis, numerical methods, consequence analysis, and risk assessment. He has developed computer codes for 1-D and 3-D simulation of thermal-hydraulic and neutronic transients in light water reactors and liquid metal fast reactors. He has served as a consultant to numerous organizations, including, Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Department of Energy, IAEA, European Commission, European Space Agency, Swiss Federal Nuclear Safety Inspectorate, Finnish Nuclear and Radiation Safety Authority, Swedish Nuclear Regulatory Authority, among others.
